Dual Olympian, Tokyo 2020 & Paris 2024. World Taekwondo competitor and international Open medallist. Oceania Champion and Australia National Champion. Stacey Hymer has been competing on the Australia Taekwondo National Team for 11 years. She is a passionate sports, travel and food lover. Stacey shares her bountiful energy and experiences through schools and corporates, and is currently helping shape Australia Taekwondo's sporting future on the Combat Australia Athletes Advisory Committee.

This is a one-day, Olympic athlete-led workshop bringing together women and girls of all ages for a hands-on experience in combat sport.
In partnership with CombatAus, Play Like A Girl is hosting an interactive day that goes well beyond sport.
Participants will have the chance to try Judo and Taekwondo alongside elite Australian Olympians, hear real stories about resilience, leadership and pursuing big goals, and connect with a community of women who believe in what sport can do for your life.
This event is for women and girls of all ages and all experience levels.
You don't need to have ever stepped on a mat.
You just need to show up.

As a dedicated and accomplished Taekwondo Tokyo Olympian, I am passionate about competing and training every day. My academic background in food technology and nutrition has greatly informed my approach to athletic training, and I firmly believe in the power of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
